Here, there, and everywhere… pieces of my heart, like petals from a rose, are scattered all around me.

I can see where I threw myself into study. Into friendships. Into work.
I can remember where I hid pieces of myself in imaginations. In dreams. In secret hopes.
Here, on this two-dimensional plane, I feel divided. Like there are too many causes to champion, too many pursuits to choose from. My senses are constantly bombarded. My head reels.
But I know this plane is not where I belong. Others may live as though there is no depth, as though nothing exists beyond what our senses can comprehend. In their mind, there is no Hell below and no Heaven above. They think they have no allegiance except to themselves… but I serve the King of kings, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
And His perspective is the one that counts. In Him, in His purpose, my heart is united.
