This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16
Hey there! 🙂
Due to work, a bit of sickness, and mostly procrastination, it has been a couple of weeks since I have written anything new for this blog. So today, on eve of my 21st birthday, I figured that it was about time I made another post, even though the words weren’t exactly as forthcoming as I’d hoped. But the great thing about quotes and verses (and birthdays, for that matter) is that they can cause us to stop and think seriously about our past and present experiences… and I’m sure, if my readers’ experiences were written down, they would make a much longer and more interesting post than what I’m capable of writing at the moment!
So, I’ll leave you to mentally (and spiritually) chew over this verse and to find out what it means in the context of your own life, as well as in its literary context.
Let us all heed the warning and enter into God’s rest.
