Today is just space
between nouns and adjectives,
the verbs and adverbs.
There will be action,
more than I can handle now…
but that’s tomorrow.
It’s time to breathe in
to brace myself for the plunge
into the unknown.
This space seems so blank,
but who knows what could happen?
